Vacation

My favorite place to vacation is on the lake, in a fishing boat, in the warm sunshine on Devils Lake, ND (I might even have some of those old sneakers that you have been talking about)

Fishing (barefoot...I'm real careful with my hooks), reading a good book, or just relaxing on the sundeck while my hubby flyfishes off the bow.
Shame we don't have summer all year in Ohio.
We golfed a couple of times and took a few excursions - otherwise we layed on the beach, did some snokeling and soaked up the sun and pina coladas.
I would highly recommend the area.
Actually, I hate to admit it, but whenever someone talks about Jamaica it reminds me of an "adult" advertisement I once saw in the back of my favorite magazine (called "Jane") about the, er, "get-aways" they have there for adults who want to hang out with other adults who, ah, enjoy adult stuff. I couldn't believe it was being advertised in a "regular" magazine - maybe I'm just old fashioned.
Finding this more and more difficult to buy into!
But, by the end of May we may be headed to Minnesota to check out more lighthouses. I'm researching a haunted lighthouse in the area. Don't think I would sleep over, but would sure love to check it out!
Also looking into a weekend in Chicago. Anybody have suggestions on what to do in Chicago? x;)
Yes, I know, why would I want to leave Wisconsin? Just short-term, to see how the night life is in Chicago. The night life in Wisconsin is just . . . dark.
Now that I think about it, why would I want to leave that and head to Chicago? There's nothing like a good bonfire.
