Bobblehead as Employee Perk/Benefit

I had the idea of giving employees a bobblehead of their own likeness benefit/perk but had no idea whether it was possible. I did a little research and it looks like it is possible. Has anyone tried this? I am wondering about the cost and how well it was received by employees.

I was thinking it would be a decent retention tool for employees after a certain length of service. Instead of a company pen, we'd give a bobblehead. Maybe it is a ridiculous idea. I just wanted to throw it out there as another option to what we currently give.

There is a lot of potential for good-will publicity out of this because it is so visual. Have a TV reporter cover the first presentation of the dolls and have a photographer from the local newspaper as well.

How about a special case in the lobby or lunchroom that displays the dolls, if not permanently, during employee recognition events.

I think some employees would think this was great - and others wouldn't get it at all. Maybe a more universally appreciated gift of service would be better.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I am looking for something unique and would appeal to a wide variety of people. I asked around about the booblehead idea and was met with a shrug of the shoulders from a few people. The bobblehead doesn't seem to have universal appeal.
